Mackerel Pate

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets of smoked mackerel

  • 1 large teaspoon of horseradish

  • the juice of half a lemon (to taste)

  • 1 tbsp of yoghurt / creme fraiche

  • chopped fresh dill to serve

Enough to serve 3

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a blender, you’re aiming for a nice chunky texture. Serve with chopped fresh dill. Perfect to keep in a jar in the fridge It makes a fast lunch served with a salad and some oat cakes, or placed in a sweet jacket potato with a handful of rocket.
